MMS15  

Martin Wall (AEAT) reported on progress on MMS15 and gave a demonstration of the current Demonstration and Development Versions of the Interactive Knowledge Base (IKB).  Gordon Bishop (NetComposites) presented and demonstrate the new user interface which has drop-down menus and integrates with the style of the NetComposites site , Robert Smith and Anne Birt (QinetiQ) described Qinetiq's involvement in the project both in providing NDE data and in the validation of data and rankings in the IKB.

MMS13

Mike Gower (NPL) gave an overview of progress on project MMS13, Richard Lee and Mark Stone (AEAT) described progress on the AEA Technology  tasks in MMS13 and relevant data from recent cross-industry meetings on defect assessment of composites, Mark Stone (AEAT).  Rod Martin (MERL) described the recent case study undertaken by MERL within MMS13 on Mode I and Mode II Delamination Characterisation of UD and Woven Glass Fibre Vinyl Ester Composites.
