A demonstration version of the Interactive Knowledge Base IKB on Design and Failure of Materials Systems in Multiaxial loading can now be seen by clicking the link on the MMS5 website www.mms5.co.uk .
On clicking the link you will be prompted for a UserID and password. The access details are the same as for the MMS15 IAG members pages.

Click on any of the items to Browse that part of the IKB. More details for each are given below. Search and Feedback are not yet implemented in this menu. To send comment or feedback click the IKB Feedback Link in the menu bar at the top of the page or email to ikbfeedback@mms5.co.uk .
This Feature lets you Browse by Simple, Intermediate and Advanced Analytical Failure Criteria. Click on the Individual criteria to bring up and drill down the pages for that criteria. The Light Blue top menu gives standard sets of information for each failure criteria. Click to bring up each Information Set. All the other Features of the IKB operate in the same way.
This Feature give suggestions on appropriate criteria that may be applicable to particular design situations, such as shaft, pipes and pressure vessels.
This Feature lets you Browse for information on specific design load cases
This feature lets you Browse for design information in specific industrial sectors
